This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on Polaris's website and our apps for macOS, iOS, and any other devices and platforms we support.
Information We Collect
We designed Polaris to keep your data private. We do not track you across the web, maintain server logs of your activity, or collect unnecessary diagnostics. When you save content inside Polaris, it is stored only to provide the features you request.
Firebase Firestore
We use Firebase Firestore to securely store and sync the data you choose to save in Polaris, such as boards, cards, and settings. Firestore receives only the content needed to deliver these features. You can review Google's privacy practices in the Google Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat processes purchase receipts and limited device information required to validate your entitlement status. You can learn more about how RevenueCat protects data in the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Analytics & Ads
Polaris does not collect analytics data, run third-party trackers, or serve advertisements.
Security
We implement a variety of technical and organizational measures to keep your information secure. All communication between Polaris, our website, and our backend services takes place over HTTPS.
Accessing, Changing, or Deleting Your Information
You may access or modify your data at any time within the Polaris app. If you would like to delete your information or receive a copy of the data we store on your behalf, contact us using the email address below. Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days.
In accordance with applicable privacy law, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right of access and portability. Obtain access to your personal information along with relevant disclosures, and receive that information in a commonly used format.

By using Polaris and providing your information, you authorize us to process your data outside of the European Union. We only transfer data when we have implemented appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable privacy law.

Your information may be processed, stored, and used outside of the country where you are located. Data privacy laws vary across jurisdictions, and different laws may apply depending on where your data resides.
Our Policy Towards Children
Polaris is not directed at persons under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in our capacity as a data controller. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can take the necessary steps in accordance with this policy.
